Episode 66 - October 13, 2017
With no more news from the Braves' front office mess, we took a look back over the whole 2017 season. It probably was not that far off what anyone should have expected in terms of record, but how the Braves got there was surprising. Dansby Swanson had a disastrous start to the season, the bullpen kept imploding, and then Freddie Freeman got injured. Yet just after the All-Star Break, the team sat at 45-45 and looked to be in contention for the Wild Card. Then they lost a lot just before the Trade Deadline and were quickly out of it. So the team became a collection of younger players, what Braves fans have wanted for awhile, with Sean Newcomb, Johan Camargo, Ozzie Albies, Lucas Sims, and a sent down and called back up Dansby Swanson signalling the youth movement had begun.
