Episode 46 - May 5, 2017

The Braves had a .500 week, and didn't really seem to be that different since last week, but we managed to find the big events. First, we worried ever so slightly about both Julio Teheran and Bartolo Colon, while being positively alarmed about the lefthanders in the bullpen. Then, we began to reflect on where the Braves could improve. Personally, we're in favor of cutting Adonis Garcia and seeing what a Jace Peterson/Johan Camargo timeshare would do. Also, we reflect on how Dansby Swanson has been and can continue improving, partly by reflecting on someone who is having a phenomenal rookie year, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees. As always, we find ourselves wrapping up by looking at the minors, where the cupboard is getting extremely full, especially on the pitching side. All of that means the Braves are still interestingly positioned for success in the next few years.
