Episode 51 - June 17, 2017

The Braves are still the team they have been in the standings, but they got much more exciting with the promotion of Sean Newcomb to the Major League roster. We talked about his two impressive first starts and what we think of the big lefty. Then we realized that the Braves are still more positioned for the future, but like how it's shaping up, including with the most recent draft and the selection of Vanderbilt's Kyle Wright in the first round. We also picked out some of our favorite players and names of the Braves' draft before coming back around to the minor league system and the phenomenal performance of Mike Soroka at Mississippi. We also reflect on some wisdom from GM John Copolella on who will be a valuable contributor to the Braves in the future. No, the team isn't good yet, but we enjoy them a lot more than some previous iterations.
