Episode 57 - July 28, 2017

The Braves had some big news in the past week, and yet they are still what they've always been this season, a slightly below .500 team. Of course, the way they get to that record keeps changing. Jaime Garcia got traded to the Twins for a low-level prospect. Dansby Swanson got sent down to Triple A, in the hopes he will get it straightened out. Also, Aaron Blair probably made his last start for the Atlanta Braves. Most likely, the Braves will make a trade or two in the next few days, and that will reshape how they look moving forward. Right now it's hard to know their plans for the future, with minor league transactions complicating everything, as Luiz Gohara and Touki Toussaint both got bumped up a level. The Braves do remain interesting, and they still are on pace to be real contenders in a year or two.
